San Diego Housing Market Forecast June 24-July 1

Home prices in San Diego County fell last month by just $2,775 (0.3%). This is after falling in May by $10,000, so overall right now we are down about 1.3% from our high in April. The real estate market is still absolutely on fire in some areas of San Diego like Ocean Beach for instance, but slowing significantly in other areas. We’re going to be seeing some neighborhoods/homes getting crushed in house prices while others are still getting overbid.

I’m starting to see a lot more home prices start aggressively low in price to still drive multiple bids and get the price driven back up. Homes starting too high in price are sitting on the market and falling in price.
